P.S nobody looks at Feedback/review page I know you guys love to hate so here leave me some feedback (3 months in) I need alotta work but still hate/comment/contribute its all appreciated.
 
if i was going on the evidence of you and rse i wouldnt think that the true power of music theory was to rob people of any sense of rhythm,mixing,melody, and sanity.
 
Thanks Man! lol I just kind emulated the music theory thing for clicks. I agree except. No Sanity though? Hmm that's debatable.

I liked your song Rough it was chill and has a nice groove. It might just be me but Sinister hop made me sorta sleepy had this lulling effect to it but just my opinion.
 
i dont understand what you mean by "emulated music theory thing for the clicks",unless this is a joke? (i am quite gullible)
not trying to be a d7ck but listen to some other music of a similar type and see what it has that yours doesnt.

appreciate it,those tracks are 5 years old,ive gotten a lot better since!
rough was just me assing around on guitar..sinister was the first and only beat ive ever put up on here,for a beat battle against jtraxx,i lost....
 
Look at RSE's post going at Biggrome I was kinda of going off that for Clicks but I think now it more cause he called out Biggrome and because its RSE people love seeing what crazy thing he will say next... Thats what I was doing not to actually claim that I know music theory because I don't.

yeah.i saw that.rse isnt the best example to follow.
the two most glaring things about your track were the mixing and quantizing,they need to be sorted.



im guessing this is the kinda thing you were going for,listen to the beat and identify the important ways in which yours differs

Yeah I just started learning about compression and understand what the actual Ratio, threshold, attack,release knobs really mean and what they do. I have yet to really understand eqing and mixing.

Thanks any particular videos that you really liked? Of course I'll do my own searching but just thought I'd ask.
 
that beat is on some beginner stuff. it would have been ALOT better if you selected better sounds.

a guy on here called jtroup does tutorials at www.industrysound.com

im lucky cause a guy i collaborate with is way into the technical side of making music so most of the stuff i know i either found out myself through fiddling or from him.
also,i play a few instruments which really helps.basic piano,learn learn learn.

I think people read the thread title and not the post. of course its beginner.. lol. But thanks anyway.
 
Yes it is a joke.. lol this site save for a few people isn't really a great place to go looking for help but just a spot to put up beats if its received well or not. Kenworth thanks for the contributions.. I think people are glazing over what I wrote...
