How can I sell beats?

I'm 17 I have my own bank account in my name but most places want you to be 18 online

soooooo......yeah so how do I sell online?
 
maybe im wrong, but i dont think you need to be 18 for a paypal?
 
If they ever do find out, that is fraud. I would not take the chance personally. If I was you I would just work on getting your name out for now. Also, upload your tracks on Soundclick.com. You can sell beats on there but however, I am not sure if you need to be 18 to sell on there.

Well if that is the case (which it probably would be, if they decided to prosecute...) then your best bet may be getting your parents to make a paypal for you. They get the money to their accounts and give you the money.

Yes, you can always sell locally. But if you want to sell online it seems your only options are to lie about your age or convince your mom to let you use her bank info. It'll only be receiving money, none leaving out of it. Or ask her to open a new account for you to use to sell beats. Pay Pal isn't going to take any money out of your account unless you buy something with it.

lol yeah i know that but im definitly not near any rappers nor do i have transportation... doing it online is my last resort

Or Western Union. I don't think you have to be 18 for western union as long as you got some type of ID.
 
can we hear something, just to let you know, man selling beats online is dificult when your just starting out. Its time consuming, and all the netowkring invloved can take up so much time, its gets pretty frustrating and u lose alot of the time to spend actually making beats and becomming better.

so im just letting you know not to expect too much, you seem enthusiastic which is a good thing, but dont expect to start making money off tops

creating a cutomer base is a gradual process that starts off slow
 
most avenues for you to sell beats are going to require you to be 18 because that usually involves contracts and for them to be legally binding you have to be 18.
