Who's the Richest rapper?producer?

Master P has made a grip in the music game, but Jay-Z and Diddy have been more successful outside of music. i don't have to mention Rocawear and Sean John. P basically sold knockoffs of FUBU. Jigga has a stake in Armadale, Rocafilms, and the New Jersey Nets as well. somthing else you might wanna keep in mind; the Nets may move to Brooklyn (NEW SPORTS COMPLEX; MORE COMMERCE) and the Olympics may end up in New York in 2012. that'll put Jay-Z up there with Astor and Getty. dude's been talking about hiding money from jump, i wouldn't sleep on him.

Did somebody say that jay'z has not sold more records than masterp, yeah right. Master p's biggest album was "Ghetto D" it sold like 4 million. non of his albums since then except the one after that one has sold near 4 million. All of jay'z albums are platinum or more.

Jay-Z has 250 mil!!!!
Well master P has 500 mil!!!
JD has 600 mill!!!

^^^you guys crack me up sometimes. lol. I'm rich Beeyotch!!!!!!!!!

doggy bag sold more than get rich or die trying

certainly not in the U.S.

bow wow must have cleaned up overseas then. im assuming aftermath records dont leave the US if bow wow really did outsell him when u add everything up

and JD's So So Def acts havent sold enough to the point where people should just bow down to him (bow wow's never seen over 2, and kris kross over 4 on one album and those were his biggest acts to my knowledge). he's probably seen most of that money from being a CEO rather than the dude making beats. as a producer, he's probably seen more cash off Usher/Mariah than some of his own artists combined. no question that he has money though (its just all probably not beat-money)

maybe we should call this "who's the richest rapper/producer that only raps/produces". its lookin more like "who's just the richest mothaf.cka"

im tired of all these black ni99as gettin mad at em cus hes white and doin it better than most if not any.. "he only sellin cus he white" .. what about bubba sparx??? nobody bought his $hit .. em is simply the most entertaining rapper there is.. nobody gives a f&*$ what any other rapper is saying, and thats sue to the fact that they not sayin nothin.. "let i breath jedi night" .. jedi night?? that $hit dont make any sence, these ni99af is just usin words and phrases for the sake of rhyming... what happened to making sence??? em makes sence ,is smart, and entertaining.. and he dont sound like anybody else either.. all them other rappers got their style from someone else

if we talkin about income solely on music and rapping??? i think kanye west would be up there.. but i dont know how mush he sells beats for, but what i do know is thatjust the list of beats he did for people this year alone was more than dre or timb have done in their careers.. im talkin about songs that get air play... exmaple ..70 percent of aalyas album(the songs that arent ,more than a woman, that song that be like "sometimes im goody-goody",i care 4 u,and one in a million)

if u dont belive me....

minus publishing due to samples...

meh..

Storch is higher up than Ye.
A producer of Kanye's stature can demand a higher advance and more points. (Which makes up for the publishing) The bulk of Storch's major hits, (where he would bank off publishing) are co-produced, so he only gets half anyways.

Kanye>Storch

Only ones I recall from Forbes, at different ranks at different times are Diddy, Jay, Master P and... throw it in the hat... Will Smith is worth a fair chunk.
