How do you go about recreating the organ? What are the chords and scale or notes for this? This one in particular Migos - Peek A Boo (No Label 2) - YouTube if you never heard of zaytoven. Any of you guys got sounds in a vst that sound like this? I can get somewhere close to it on hypersonic but just cannot finnese the organ like he can. Please i need some answers and no i dont wanna sound like zaytoven i just like the organ

I know exactly what you mean that organ pops up a few times in Bando as well. I have been wondering the same thing. What did you do in hypersonic to get close? i cant get my organ sounds to shine like that either.

Tonewheel organs > combine and tweak a lotof them. Swish come true is the main one maybe with silk n roses played in a minor scale i believe. But like you said, it doesnt shine like his. Zaytoven is a beast with that organ

Try the vintage Organs Kontakt Library it has some really good organs but you guys are probably nicer on the keys than me and probably have more luck.

I got a preset in one of my VST's that is close as I've ever got.

It's a Leslie B3.

The song is in C# minor, he uses that scale all the time.

E - G# - C#

You wouldnt by any chance know whats being played in that song Bando? The organ shows up in the hook.

Its either a c minor or a minor thats the one he used to use all the time just gotta mess around i guess. I still would like to know the exact organ he uses.

Doesnt anyone at least know whats vst zaytoven uses? I know he uses a mpc but where does he get his sounds

This is another beat, dont think the organ is in it but its still a banger, where do we get these kinds of sounds?

On that organ I have a feeling it's a sample. I've heard it many times.

Would make sense for it to be a sample, he does use the mpc on all his beats and never shows where he gets it from. And for the zaytoven kit the one i got is complete trash and has nothing but drums zaytoven would never use, you found a good one?

I found this on Youtube. Now get yourself an organ vst like the one from Kontakt Vintage Organ or B4 Hammond. Should work.

Thanks exactly what i was looking for. I dont have kontakt but i do have hypersonic. Is kontakt or b4 hammond free?

Pretty sure he just using a regular old sound organ from his M3 or anything else if he upgraded.

Best Organ emulation VST is VB3

It's not the patch, it's the roll and the mod wheel being turned while playing. Anyone who's ever played keyboard in a church has done this a billion times. Glide you finger across keys till you get to the note/chord you want to hold on and move the mod wheel to give the tonewheel effect at key points.

It can be done on......

Hypersonic 2's organ patches
NI B4
Reason(Factory Bank or Electromechanical refill)
The Tonewheel Organ in Pro Tools
The Tonewheel Organ in Logic
Kontakt and Maschine Factory Libraries.
Any Workstation Keyboard(Triton/M3, Motif, Fantom, Fusion, ect.)

And I'm sure any sampled B3 emulation created recently.

Probably easier to list organ vsts that can't do it.
