hi everybody... i am new here so just saying hi. ive been really making hip hop beats for almost a year, but was into djing and making synth parts for about a year before i really started actually making beats. im not as into sampled beats, i more make synth based beats or any kind of beat that is more melodic and less sample based. i have an mpc 500 and i use and really enjoy garageband, although it is very hard to get the 2 to work together. i was looking at the maschine from NI cause it integrates software and hardware. i was also checking out a used mpc 2000xl so that my 500 could be used just for mobile purposes. the korg emx1sd looks sick and the sp 404sx or sp 555 looks cool too. any suggestions? my budget would be around 500 to 600.
