Hi all!

Can anybody tell me if a YAMAHAH A4000 is worth buying for $300.oo Australian dollars.
Are they any good?
Anyone out there own one?
Just need a little info, would help heaps!

It comes with manual, scsi cable, and a couple of disks (os I think?)
Going to get more info soon I hope!

If anyone can help us with some info it would be most appreciated...

Thanks peeps!

Price sounds about right...and it's a decent, flexible sampler. But hardware samplers tend to be almost completely surpassed by software, since you don't need to use clumsy disks or arcane hard drives and sample sizes are practically unlimited. The Ax000 series are all decent, but they don't really do much anything "special". I had the A3000 almost 10 years ago and even then it eventually felt outdated compared to software.

Still, if you want a non-computer setup, that's not the worst piece to start with.
