Why aren't my samples working on my MPC100?

I have an MPC 1000 with a 32MB ext. Memory card and 128MB int. Memory. I bought a sample back from Primeloops in the form of wav. files and all the samples play on my computer, but once I have transferred them onto the MPC they do not play when i press F5 (on the load screen) and when i press F6 (do it) it says "Wrong File!". Could anybody help because this is getting really annoying.

Make sure the wav files are 16bit/44.1kHz..

If you have Windows, right click a sample and click Properties. Take a look at the Details tab.

Or open it in an audio player or an audio editor and look at the file's properties..

I have a few prime loops packs, they are all 24bit so you will have to convert them for use on the mpc, pain in the butt really...

load the sounds up in ya d.a.w then just have to export them out 1 at a time as wav 16, 44.1. Most audio programs should do it...fl studio is easy, do them all at once if ya split mixer tracks... hope that helps

Load them into a audio editor and save in wav 16bit/44.1kHz..
