i think its "silly-frankie beverly &maze" or somethin like that i think madlib no 9th wonder used that on a murs album

I dont hear any of the instruemnts on the intro to best friends on this song.. who played those instruments? im assuming they just used the sample.

yeah, thats actually the one i listen to lol.. but still.. sounds like they only took the Silly sample.. where did those other instruemnts come from? the piano and ****
 
The intro was played on the piano by one of aftermath's musicans
 
yeah but the vocal sample in the intro is sampled from silly wasn't i and they replayed/based the piano intro off the song too.
 
thats dope. they made it sound real tight

they shoulda used the intro for the whole beat. that piano player/guitar center with the sample over it
