Does anyone know what instrument Collipark uses in David Banners "PLAY"?
It's kind of rubberband sounding and of course, It's very distinguishable because only a handfull of sounds are used!

Holla back and let me know and thanx in advance!

Sounds like a synth that has been "Doppler Shifted" to me...

A lot of audio programs have it. Or at least Adobe Audition does.

You know how when a siren gets higher piched as it comes towards you and lower pitched as it goes away? Same deal. I think they just took a sound and ran it through that a couple of times and added em together.

Could be wrong, but it's my best guess.

Are you asking what the main sound in 'Rubberband Man' is?

If so, I believe it's a Jazz Organ of some sort.

yes thats exactly what hes asking by mentioning david banner and "play".

You could just buy a Motif Rack for a grand...

As for getting just the sounds, you should prolly make nice with someone who has a Motif. It seems like it would be too time consuming and too altruistic for someone just to record every (basic) sound on their motif for someone to download...

So yall think it's the lead or a synth from the motif? I've got a motif sample cd with most of the sounds so I'll see if I can find it! And feel free, if anyone has any other thoughts on what the sound is, just holla!
Thanx, Oh yeah some of yall are crazy funny on the David Banner "Play" TI-Rubberband thang up above! :)
