Music forever.
I was wondering what that effect is on that Tonto Mentro & Devonte song on the Liquid riddim "Give it to her". It's also used on T.O.K's "She's Hot". It sounds like the voice is being warped.

Yo curlz the effect is called a "Vocoder". This effect has been used on alot of tunes before. They di use it pon Cher's song "Believe". I use a VST version called "Orange Vocoder".

Does this "Orange Vocoder" make it sound like those songs I mentioned? I have the vocoder with FL but I don't think it can do that, can it?

Yeh mon, Orange vocoder is pretty hot. I don't use it too much . It will give you the effect that your looking for.

Digitech Talker was used on Cher's "Believe" to get that effect :)

The one I use is Vokko, an excellent and cheap (was free, now US$16) vocoder that can use its built in synth or sound fonts as a carrier. It is a VST/VSTi plug. Orange is very good to, but a little pricey.
