What is AV8?

I was just wondering what exactly does av8 mean? now adays I see a lot of djs using serato with songs that are called something..av8 or av8 mix.

what exactly is av8? and where can I get them..hehe

Its a record company, Crooklyn Clan and Fatman Scoop are probably the most high profile artists/producers to release on it. Basically does alot of remix / party breaks. Go to www.av8records.com for more details and downloads.

I think it's a Record Label that basically put's out dj friendly edits, remixes & mashups.

It also happens to release some crap. People seem to love it though, which is what matters.

I have no idea how true it is, but according to urban legend AV8 was started by Armand Van Helden and are the intials of his name with 8 representing the eighth letter of the alphabet (H).

Hmmmm interesting. I remember having a party break record by Armand released on AV8 I didn't know he started it though. (If that's true)
