i have never actually used this little blue baby, but i have heard good things about it from some fellow dj's.

i have been using a mixtick, but i am not considering swapping the 2, but is it a worthy ttist mixer????/

or is it a dodgy little blue gimmik??

i am using it as a loaner untill my 270a is in stock. its a pretty good mixer for scratching....actually a damn good mixer for scratching. if your into house or trance then its a little plain. the fader is really smooth and the hamster switch is a plus. dont really have anything bad to say about it.

I've got the blue beast. It's a great beginner turntablist mixer - all the functions you could want - hamster switch, feather faders, transform buttons, etc - but for mixing it's not very good at all, with only got 2 eq's per channel. I got mine over the internet (new) for $380 (AUS) which is approx $190 (US) which I thought was a bargain. Don't get it if your mainly a mix DJ rather than scratch DJ, there's better mixers out there if you want to be able to do both.

sorry..i thought you were talking about the 05pro...just realized your talking about that see through blue mixer....disreguard what i said about it.

well i have heard from a few people it is awesome for scratch, yet it is plain as hell for mixing,

i was thinking of getting it for turntablism, while using my 170a for drum and bass

from a mix DJ point of view: this is a crappy mixer, two crucial things for the mixing DJ are lacking in this mixer, the EQ as some1 mentioned above, and the headphones amp, which is really flimsy, and gets the signal distorted on high vol. (not so high)
