Vestax PCV-275 vs. PCV-180 vs. PCV-175

I'm in the market for a mixer. I spin mostly techno with occasional dabbling in DnB, so I have no need for scratching. I'm looking for at least a 3-channel mixer because I'd like to add a Cycloops to my current setup, and I'd also like the flexibility to add a Machinedrum somewhere down the road. I couldn't care less about mic inputs.

I'm looking at these three Vestax mixers (PCV-275, PCV-180, and PCV-175) and trying to figure out which is most appropriate for my needs, but I'm not really sure what the key differences between the mixers are.

As far as I can tell, the 275 and the 175 have individual kill switches for the EQ bands, while the 180 doesn't. The 275 and 180 have more complex effects routing (pre or post) than the 175. The 175 doesn't seem to offer a choice between split or stereo cueing on the headphones.

The individual kill switches have me leaning toward the 275, but perhaps there are more significant differences that I'm missing? Any help would be great!

Also, the 275 and 180 both seem to be around $400, while the 175 is around $280, so there's also the question of whether the price difference is worth it.

Or if anyone has alternative mixer suggestions in this price range, that would also be helpful--I settled on Vestax mainly b/c everything I've read seems to suggest that they are the best quality you can get at the $400 level.

I think the 180 has full drops on the EQ, making kill switches a bit redundant. You might want to look into an Ecler Smac 30, or even a Xone:02 (two faders, but dual gain knobs to run four sources at once).

the 275 is plush

i used to have the 175 and it worked for me well - but i also used my friends 275 quite often at the same time and preferred it.

both will do you well but if you can afford the 275 then definitely go for it.

currently i'm using an a&h and the eq's are simply amazing! so if you could afford the extra dough then definitely try out the 32... you also get a decent filter built in...

You never miss it do ya Johnny?

The Elcer Smac series are awesome, me and johnny basically tag onto to most posts which mention them coz there just frickin amazing for there price!

Dont know how easy they are to find in your area but worth hunting one down to at lease try one out.

175 is the blue one? that one has paint chipping off near faders and eq knobs.

the 275 is a good mixer, I used the 270 many times, very good mixer
