Is there anyway to use Logic on a Windows computer? I want to learn it without splahing out for a Mac.

Nope. Logic back in the day used to be owned by a company called E-Magic and back then it was for both (PC & Mac). However, that version of Logic was COMPLETELY different from the current versions. When E-magic got bought by Apple nearly 10 years ago, it was no longer a universal program and it's been that way ever since. I started using Logic about 3 years ago and honestly, I prefer Mac...it's just a better system for doing any creative work. There's nothing wrong with buying a Mac......consider it an investment in something that you love to do. You know what they say......."once you go Mac.....you never go back!!!" LOL

yes ! use VMWare , then use a mac osx as a virtual machine.

this is not true ! i will never use mac over a pc (many people are the same) for a pc can have more power then a mac any day .
ie there's a pc that can have 48gb of ddr3, 3gb and 6gb sata drives ,3.0 usb and a cpu of 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo) Six-Core.

just a side note but mac's now use the same cpu's as a mac.

The cpu being the same makes no difference... what does is the software... and Mac OS is soo much more stable and reliable than Windows... you can even run windows via bootcamp and it will crash like a PC..... so..... as my friend did... if you have an amazing PC... install Mac OSX... then you will have the best of both worlds.

windows 7 is just as stable as mac osx ...i will say the debate that a mac is more stable then windows can no longer be said and mac knows that . this is why you don't see those mac commercials about this on tv anymore.

as i said you don't need a amazing pc just use VMWare .

oh by the way mac's crash ...so,don't think it's just windows or linux or whatever. there is intel mac's and they crash just as well.

My Mac crashes all the time.

I do prefer Mac though because I like OSX and the UI and I like the hardware; but neither is better.

I never said they didden't crash! Twisting my words a little there... just said that in general its more stable... plus i prefer not to be asked "If i was sure" i wanted to run a program everytime I click it!

I'm not sure about VMWare because you won't have graphics acceleation enabled.
What I know though...

And it will work 100%. I tried it myself.
You need the right pc hardware though.

With the knowledge of installing mac osx on a pc any macbook or mac pro is useless:D

ok,that was my misunderstanding about mac's and crashing.
the other thing i have to ask is how do you have windows set up that it ask about programs all.

Ahh I thought you might come back at me with that. I'm going to have to confess and say I have not had a PC since Windows XP so when I have seen Vista and 7 on a friends computer... they have not been using it correctly!

After replying last time to your post I had a little thought that maybe there was the option to do such a thing! I have been rumbled... but I still stick by Mac's being so sweet to use and rely on... although the gamer in me is PC! No way is a Mac better than PC for gaming...
