Can someone help me, my mixing is really tight but for some reason when I mix in a downfilter made of just whitenoise it sounds cool before limiting and final EQ and stuff - then when I bring that shit back up with a limiter during the master, the white noise is very harsh on the mix? I EQ'd a lot of the high end of the white noise and highered the volume, still same problem. I tried lowering the volume down in general, but I don't get the same impact as I had when it was highered? It's really frustrating all my other instruments are fine. Appreciate any advice, thanks, lads!
