trance style drone with fruityloops?

does anyone here know how to create a good trance style drone with fully registered fruityloops pro 2.6?

also, when applying a drone, what is the best song element to coordinate it with?

Are you sure you are fully registered?? If so you should be up to version 3.01 and then the answer to your question is extremely easy. As far as I know you can only make a long drone sound by using a looped sample or a really long sample of a drone. Anyway, go get V.3.01 it is way easier and a lot less limited than the old Floops.
