Hi there,

I've recently started using Traktor 2 DJ Studio for DJing.
Great program, however if I save the BPM using track/edit/ write ID3, then it doesnt seem to be saved in the track!

As a test case I loaded a track in another Traktor Studio on another computer and BPM settings arent there anymore.

Question is: How do you save the bpm correctly?

Greetz.

Hi

I've figured out the problem when saving bmp speed in traktor DJ Studio 2.1.1(PC version)
When a mp3 track selected and loaded into the deck, you cant save the settings, since the file is "open".
Solution is pretty simple in this case. Select another mp3 or unload the mp3 and Then save the settings of the mp3 in question.
This is the only correct way of saving it. Traktor does show the new bmp settings in the playlist, when you do save it while playing the mp3. But it hasnt really saved it in the mp3 file, only in the playlist.

NOTE: BMP settings & version 2.0
However last week I was DJing on the Traktor Studio 2.0 using in Apple IBook. and it still didn't recognise my bpms, aargh

This has something to do with the version of traktor studio 2 as the guys at native instruments replied to me in an email a few days ago:

"The ID3 tag writing is workin from v2.1 on. Please go
online and download the 2.1 update."
