I wanna track a beat out of Reason into Audacity, but I have concerns cause this is first time doing this...

When I track the beat, will my beat still be sequenced the same way it was in Reason??

I can't figure how I track the beat, so can i get a explanation of that please....

please help......

i think the only way to do it is to export the tracks one by one.
Unless you can rewire and record all the separate channels.

well usually, when i do remixes, i take loops usually by 8 bars or 16 depending on changeups and export the stereo files. and then open them up in acid. i set the project tempo to the tempo of the beat and then thats where the hard part is, cause sometimes i have to drag things over so i dont have timing issues. now i've never used audacity, so i hope i helped a lil bit

i just solo each track. you can do that from the mixer(what i do) or from the sequencer i believe

Is there a specific thing I click/choose in the mixer or sequencer??

just solo each track and export it like ur exporting a beat. good luck sequencing in audacity. kinda a pain in the ass to do so in it.

Learn Signal Flow and Bussing. Forget all that soloing and exporting garbage.
