The Xenyx 1204 comes with a USB audio interface that can be used in place of your computer's audio card. I have the interface set for recording and playback for my computer. I have had nothing but feedback from my speakers (KRK rp5s) using it. Any way to stop it?

I have 1/4 instrument cables hooked up from my monitors to the control room output of the mixer. I have RCA cables from the back of the monitors to the outputs of the interface. I also have the CD/Tape outputs going to the inputs of the interface.

Here are the directions I was given by tech support:
1. Connect from the TAPE / CD OUTPUTS on the top of your mixer to the inputs of the UCA200.

2. Connect from the output of the UCA200 to the TAPE / CD INPUTS

3. On your PC, go to: CONTROL PANEL - >sounds and audio devices

4. Click on the AUDIO tab. The recording and playback devices should be set to USB AUDIO CODEC

5. On whatever recording software you are using, go into preferences or options and set the software to use USBAUDIO CODEC or UCA200 for the recording device.
