I'm thinking about going to IAR for music production.

If you can please share your thoughts about this school, it would be of great help.

thanks!

I graduated from IAR last june. It's good school, but it covers more aspects of engineering, than actual production. The production stuff they do teach is really bad. On the other hand, the professors there are the best you can get; I learned soooo much from them.

thank you for the response!

Why were the production classes bad?

Did you get an internship after IAR?

thanks, its been a great help

Personally, I thought the production classes were pretty good too. At IAR it's all what you make of the classes - the program is only about 9 months so if you slack off you won't get anything out of it. If you are serious, then there's no limit to what you can do. Fire Productionz was definitely right about the professors though, they are awesome!!
As for internships, the career services department is a huge help. They help you build your resume and then start sending it off to places before you even graduate. AND even after you graduate, you get lifetime service from them if you ever need help finding work.
Hope this helps!
