This is starting to get annoying

Right, so I'm having some problems with recording in FL Studio.

Basically, it seems like it doesn't record what I'm playing the way I'm playing it.

I tought I solved this problem a while back ( because I'd record something and when I'd hit the PLAY button I'd be like "WTF, that's not what I did! *punches screen* ) when I discovered the SNAP button and switched it off.

Turning SNAP off made it better, but I still get the sense that FL Studio has special needs, because I was trying to record a snare earlier, and I tought I was getting a nice groove, but everytime I record it, it hits to early.

Maybe I'm just off-beat... but when I record in Ableton, it's seems to record what I'm playing, how I'm playing, whether it's crap on not (and no, this is not a commercial for Ableton lol)

Anyone know something?

you did not download asio4all or buy a dedicated input system like the 2i2,2i4, presonus audiobox or the thing from cubase that duplex driver.

46 is bad for fast playing.20 is good for slow playing.1-10 for fast playing.
built in soundcards can do 48khz at 6ms.with asio4all.
