What instrument are y'all combining?
I like to combine strings, brass, a bass guitar, and a aunty

Lately I've been doing a lot of sampling where I take out the hi-ends on a sample, then duplicate the track and KONG, and change it to taking out the low ends, so I combine those with the combinator. Otherwise I usually use it on strings/guitars and piano.

I don't really layer sounds like that. I tend to use regular sounds and use fx to beef them up. If I do layer its to add another texture to the sound.

I generally use the combinator just to keep everything tidy etc.

Nice, I've recently been trying to figure out more about the combi. Usually I just use it to tie sounds and effects together.

Ive been making effects combis. Theres this site that has a ton of creative ways to route in route called Reason 101... this dude goes in. (NH) Try it out.

I like to combine Thor and mastrom for lead Synth or bass synth

i like to use the malstrom and subtractor together or just my sounds and effects in a combi or each track in its own combi to keep things clean and organized.
