It's late tonight, and I've been celebrating the holidays for quite some time now. Luckily for my loyal readers, those who know who I am and what I'm about, I'm feeling the obligation to share with you some real knowledge. THis is information you need in order to succeed in virtually any business; and, especially, in new hip hop.
New hip hop is where artist begin to take their careers into their own hands, and stop seeking their one shot with labels; because all performers get more than a shot with music listeners. Please, for the love of God, lose the one shot attitude. Release your freakin music to the world and give yourself the chance to succeed. Get your listeners involved! People are looking for things to do that. They want to do things that are outside of the norm for them. They want to do something worth talking about the next day, rather it's be good or bad. They want to get laid, they want be popular, and; I don't know if you realize this; they look to music creators to accomplish this.
Movies, commercials, song writers, recording studios, and other companies or people need use. The need us maintain prospective when they can't see for themselves. The look to use for motivation, guidance, feedback, knowledge, entertainment, and a conglomeration of other mindsets. They need us for collaborations, promotions, marketing, and more. So step you game up, continuously. Do your absolute best on every beat, and limit the time you spend doing so. Become a one take wonder and master the craft of music. And, by the way #BTW, I'm not even going o proofread this post because no matter what, you know what it is.
