Hello All,
I am currently using NI Maschine along with an IMac OSX operating system. I have a usb turntable and am also using Soundflower to sample from the internet. While using the turntable i have to go into my audio and midi settings in maschine and change it to the usb device in order to record into maschines sampling feature, which is fine, except i cannot hear the music through my computer speakers and have to toggle between the usb device and then back to the built in device to hear what i sampled.
While using Soundflower I have to go to my system preferences on the mac and change my sound output settings to Soundflower along with changing my device in the audio midi settings(in maschine) to record into the sampling feature, and when i do that i cannot hear any sound from the computer as it records, and have to switch the outputs and devices back to the headphones and the built in device to hear what i have just recorded.
So i am not able to listen to what i am recording simultaneously.
Would an audio interface solve this problem?
