splitting mixer tracks in fl studio

how do you properly slit mixer track in flstudio.... i have an artist thats asking for the mixer tracks so that he can record on the beat in the studio... i thought that the mixer track where split when you export it to a mp3 file...i also thought that he wanted the wanted the flstudio file .. but arent thought no good with out the sounds on my pc? ... im very confused can someone help me ... thank in advance

You should be able to rewire if not then u should be able to export each track out as an .wav file. Not 100 percent sure cause i dont use that software but im pretty sure im on da right track. Check the links below they may help and they may not.

When you Render out The song into mp3 check the box that says spit mixer tracks

Don't even say 'MP3' and 'production' in the same sentence. MP3 is a medium designed for consumer music distribution only. It throws away the quality you have paid for and (hopefully) worked hard to maintain.

Instead, render to PCM WAV.

Click all your sounds in to the mixer tracks, a shortcut is Ctr L then click render export wave file, and clikc the lil light that says split into mixer tracks.

so once you have them split all up then what? Is it the song or just data? If its the actual song, how do you split the tracks up so you can mix from external mixing boards?

when there are split, its all in Wave file forms, each sound is tracked out to the length of the beat, except its just sound per sound, and you get 1 master track, with the compleat beat

No its not data its all wav files.


and yes they can load it up just remember to give them the tempo of the beat.
