We have two new ethnic lute libraries for Kontakt: Balian Sape and Persian Saz​

We recently recorded two lutes from very different worlds: Bali and Persia.

The Balian Sape is a traditional lute from Indonesia. It spans 3 octaves and its playing style typically uses a lot of hammer-ons and hammer-offs. Our deeply sampled Kontakt instrument features the full range of the instrument. The lowest octave additionally contains some beautiful strums for you to layer with your melodies. As an added treat, we’ve included some hammer-ons at the highest velocity layer.

The Persian Saz is a traditional lute from Persia. It spans 2 octaves and its playing style typically uses a lot of hammer-ons and hammer-offs. Our deeply sampled Kontakt instrument features the full range of the instrument.
