That fourth tune is HOT.

But, now for the PSA:

In general, I am sad when anyone is taken from this world.

But, that being said, if you live a certain way, or say you live a certain way, then occasionally people will check you on it.

Anyone can catch some random violence, but we can do things to increase or decrease our chances. I decrease my chances.

Legendary Bay Area rapper Spice 1 was shot in Hayward, California during the early morning hours of Monday (December 3), but details regarding the incident are sketchy.

The rapper's manager, Six, confirmed the shooting to BallerStatus.com, but said despite rumors, Spice is still alive and in critical condition at an unspecified hospital.

According to Six, Spice was shot twice, once in the chin and another time in the chest, which just missed his heart by inches.

"Yes, it's true," Six told BallerStatus.com. "Right now, we're asking for everyone to keep Spice in their prayers."

Spice 1 is being treated at an area hospital, unknown due to the circumstances of the shooting. Despite being in serious condition, Six says he is expected to pull through.

Spice 1 (real name: Robert L. Green, Jr.) hails from Hayward, California. He is a legend in the Bay Area who has been releasing music since the early 90s.

He has more than 15 albums under his belt, three of which were certified gold during his days as an artist on the Jive Records roster.

He left Jive Records in 1999, and has since released numerous albums independently. His most recent was Thug A$$ociation, which dropped in May and feature B-Legit, Roger Troutman and C-Bo.

BallerStatus will keep you updated as details are revealed.

Well said I decrease my chances as well. Maybe before I matured I increased my chances but I grew up. Like they say you live by the sword you die by the sword.

If and when you get your card pulled hopefully you are being true to who you really are.

I just read this, don't know how true it is, or if it helps anybody..

HAYWARD — A Hayward man was recovering from a gunshot wound after being shot in the chest early Monday while sleeping in his car, according to Hayward Police Lt. Reid Lindblom. The 37-year-old man received serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley, Lindblom said.
Police did not release the man's name.
The man apparently had been sleeping in his car in the driveway of his house on the 26000 block of Chiplay Avenue when, at about 12:30 a.m., he became aware that someone was standing next to his car, Lindblom said.
"A shot rang out. It went through the car window and hit him in the chest," he said.
The victim then went into his house and family members called 9-1-1, Lindblom said.
Nothing was stolen from the man or taken from his vehicle, the lieutenant said.
The shooter was described as a white or Hispanic male about 5 feet 7 inches tall and dressed all in black.
Lindblom said investigators do not have a suspect or a motive for the shooting. Investigators will interview the victim and process his vehicle for evidence, he said.
"We'll just see what comes up, what shakes out," he said.
Anyone with additional information is encouraged to call the Hayward Police Department at 510-293-7000

Rapper Spice 1 recovering from gunshot wound

(12-06) 15:46 PST HAYWARD - Bay Area rapper Spice 1 is recovering in an East Bay hospital after being shot in his car outside his parents' Hayward home, authorities said today.

The rapper, whose given name is Robert Green, 37, was shot in the chest about 12:30 a.m. Monday in an SUV on the 26000 block of Chiplay Avenue, said Hayward police Lt. Reid Lindblom.

Green told officers that he was sitting in his Cadillac Escalade when someone came up to the window and shot him through the glass.

No motive for the shooting has been established, and no arrests have been made, Lindblom said.

Green, who has worked with rappers Method Man, Too , Ice-T and the late Tupac Shakur, suffered a collapsed lung, his family said.

"He's in pain, but otherwise he's coming along really well," his mother, Jean Green-Craven, 57, said today from Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley.

"He's a very lucky young man," she said.

Green's stepfather, Jerry Craven, 57, said that "everybody loves him" and that "my son would always tell me if he had got into a confrontation or an argument at party, and that has never happened."

Green would "give you his last dime," his stepfather said.

He told his family that he had been listening to music and talking to his girlfriend on the phone while sitting in the Escalade. Someone then walked up to the passenger side of the vehicle and tried to "jimmy" the door, Craven said.

Green demanded to know who it was and was shot, Craven said.

Craven said it was possible that someone was trying to steal the Escalade without realizing his stepson was inside. The vehicle has tinted windows, and it was dark, Craven said.

"I don't think it was rap-related," Craven said.

Green was born in Texas and moved to the Bay Area when he was 5. He attended Mount Eden High School in Hayward and got into rap in the early 1980s, his family said. He has released more than a dozen albums.
