not bad! it sound kinda overcompressed tho, like really pumpy which doesnt really fit the choice of instruments (piano, strings and rather smooth drums). did you put a compressor on the master bus?
 
Yeah that's what my gut was telling me! its actually my first time putting Maximus on the FL studio master... I am trying to get a feel for it but as you can see I have a long way to go? Any tips - should I just lower the compression (purple knob) for each one!? The bass is always so much lowder than the others on the compression and EQUO charts but I feel if I lower it too much it sounds airy with no punch on the kick! Thanks, any tips??

Turned down the purple band on my Maximus and lowered the gain on my limiter, sounds better and less squashed IMO



What you guys think?
