can anyone suggest more recent single producer albums that are worth looking at?
ex. Albert Eistien (alchemist), pinata (madlib), blue chips 2 (party supplies)

mabye it's the chemistry between the rapper and procuder on those albums but they are the best shit in awhile

chemistry definitely plays a big part. I personally like hearing consistent sound palettes.

also. Mac Miller's "Delusional Thomas", the concept and production are both crazyyy

There is nothing more pleasing to my ears than hearing an album, from start to finish,
sonically consistent.
 
you could have a look at captain murphy- duality, i guess this fits into this category as he both rapped on and produced it
