Should a software dude buy a cheap 2000XL?

Im sure this has been covered here alot, but I want and up to date answer... I can get a perfectly fine (save a few screen lines) MPC2000xl for $200. If i buy it i'll mainly just use it like an mpd and hook it to midi cause im mainly software (reason, logic, ableton). But I love sampling and I wanna be able to sample off vinyl. So my question, is it worth it to spend the 200 for a mpc? Considering im all software and its 2011... Or should I just save it for a maschine..
