Just bought a MPC 2000xl form ebay. I cannot get my sequences and sounds to save. When I turn it off and turn it back on my samples, sounds, and sequences are not on the zip. I formated the zip already. Frustrated please help.

if it's anything like my MPC 2000, you have to save them individually.....I just purchased a 1000 and it's saving everything on the Hard Drive, which is off the hook for me.
I got my 1000 for $500 on Ebay my damn self, :) :sing:

read the manual too, I have a 2000 so learnig the 1000 has a learning curve that I'm still learning........

but I would save the"all program" if I were you

Aye...what I do Is save ".all" and ".aps
" files and the sequence and sounds will be saved. Peace.

What are you saving to? you need to connect a zip drive or something to it and save "a" instead of all and select the program then the sequence

Read the manual its all there. If you don't understand the manual you shouldn't be using the equipment.

make a new folder for each new beat, in that folder, go to save then click 'save all seq and songs' once thats done saving then hit 'save all sounds and programs' then go into the folder, load up the .all and .aps files. all your sounds wil load and so will your sequences.
