I recently switched to logic pro from FL studio and Im tryin to figure out how to change the pitch of my samples with out changing the speed...I know how to adjust pitch in the ESX but it speeds it up or slows it down.

Anyone know how to to pitch up without changing the speed of the sample?

Thanks for any help

There are a few ways you can use the "Time and Pitch Machine", but if you open the sample in wave editor and set your tempo/length to the same as the original and set it to whatever harmonic modification you want.
So, in the example from my screen shot, when I process the sample, the result is one octave higher but the sample length and speed. Screen shot 2011-10-25 at 8.05.20 PM.webp

Or if you have the corresponding type loop, you should have a transposition and tempo match option in the upper right area of inspector when the loop is selected in the arrange window.

Again, if I have helped you, please consider helping me out here:
