S & S Sampling & Suing!!!!!!!!!! Important Note!!!!

SAMPLING-When an artist samples someone's voice or music, that artist must be notified for clearance of the sample before an artist can clearly use a sample. This is what I like to call a music infraction as far as publishing goes.

Suing
​If a person does not clear a sample, than the artist has a right to sue the individual who is responsible for using an unclear sample.
 
To my knowledge you cannot be sued unless you have made money off of said sample. If you haven't made any form of revenue the most they can due is send a cease and desist letter.

Thats true!!! If there is no money made off the unclear sample, then there is no music infraction as far as sampling another artist music without permission.

My man objective for this post is to provide quality information about a small birdseed of the pros and cons of the industry from my point of view!!!

I love sharing my information with others. I know I am very smart. I just want to prove it. Thats all!!!
