Real Time Pitch Shift & Time Stretch Software

I've looked all over the internet and cannot seem to find a software to replicate this feature like the MPC does. This video demonstrates exactly what I want to do:

I've found a few programs and plugins that do pitch shift but when they do it's either not accurate or distorts the sound. I know there must be a program out there that is capable of producing the same results as the MPC so I'd really appreciate any help.

No one knows of any good programs that could help me out? It's come to the point where I'm considering just buying an MPC1000.
 
A kind of plugin which can do granuller synthesis will give you pitched sample with its length keeped. e.g. FL studio's granullizer.

also try db blue tape stop (google it). it comes with a bundle of other fx .i run it in FL and turn the knob while live recording.
 
I have the same problem trying to use Wavelab 6. I just reverted back to using an old copy of Acid (I got in '97) that does the job just fine. I guess all the glitters is not gold, and everything new is not better. Go figure.
