Marquette “Rai L” Sutton (born November 8, 1992), is a recording artist, songwriter, producer and rapper. He was born in Washington, D.C. and was raised in the P.G. County-area in Maryland. He became known for producing street-singles for artists such as “A-Mafia – Get Money Stay True ft. Papoose” and “JR Writer – I’m Alive”. Rai L has released his debut mixtape “Before Night Falls” showing great feedback without paid promotion. He received advice on the “rap game” and feedback on the mixtape from super producer Nottz’s manager, Darryl Sloan. He considers Universal’s AraabMuzik his very first industry mentor.
