This time I have a question.
Why is it that I need to gain the mix on the master bus with an EQ filter that is angled more and more upwards across the whole frequency spectrum the more I gain in order to maintain the frequency balance of the mix during the gain staging process? If I just gain the mix with a gain plugin I get more low end and need to re adjust the whole balance of the mix. Is this an issue of not having flat enough monitoring?
