Question on audio interface upgrade.

Just wanted some opinions on what interface I should buy? Right now I have a M-audio fast track but I just got reason 6 so I feel like im gonna need to upgrade. My price range is around $300 or so? Here's my set-up if it helps...

-Macbook Pro(stock)
-M-Audio monitors
-Sennheiser HD 380 headphones
-Reason 6
-Audio Technica condenser mic
-ETC, ETC...

Kinda lost on what would be the best to get, I want some thing that will be good for mixing and monitoring, and also record at a very high quality.

I personally feel one of the best interfaces in this price range is the Echo AudioFire. It doesnt get talked about enough. Rock solid drivers, excellent conversion, nice clean preamps.

Do you have a Firewire connection?

Focusrite. Pick one with the inputs/outputs you need and forget the rest.

Just copped the apogee duet 2 , a lil pricey for two inputs, but loving it! Works so well with apple prods
