so i decided it was time to stop mixing with headphones and order some numark speakers, however I didnt realize i wouldnt be able to plug them into my laptop because there is no right and left slot for the chord in it, or is there a way that i can hook these things up to my laptop before i return them? thanks!

I'm guessing these are the NPM5's as it's the only Numark model currently available...which would mean that you'll just need a cable that has a 1/8" stereo jack at the other end and RCA plugs at the other. Or a proper audio interface, but with that cable you'll at least get 'em up & running.
