im using fl studio and when i have my pattern of hi hats layed down i want to add swing to my notes by moving some of the notes so I go alt+Q in piano roll, Groove template and then snap and choose a template but it never seems to add the swing, just seems to seems to stay the same am I doing something wrong?

1st you hit Ctrl+A to select all the notes
then hit Alt+Q
when the box pops up under the "groove template" section you click default and that will open up the folder with all FL studio groove templates in it
choose your template and click accept and you should get something like this
and that's it...you're done
then hit Alt+Q
