e-jay is the best door opener to music making, its instant results and easy to use its targeted at newbie pc users. anyways.
im not sure what e-jay you got
try this.
method 1.
open ejay directory and you should see the catgorys hiphop , dance , rave , copy and paste all content from other say to the " dance folder" open e-jay and see if all sounds are there .. u may need to rename " i.e hihat . bass drum . tom .
to say , HHhihat <--hip hop hat .. DNbassdrum. <--- dance bass drum so you will know where the sound came from . also will prevent the dance hihat over writeing the rave hihat,,
method 2 (garanteed)
this will take time but you will only need to do it once,
drop each single sample to the sequencer 1by1 and export as song for each individul sound. to wav file, after you have done this. to every sample back it up on cd and u will have a sample bank to use in any music software.
to use it in e-jay redrop the file back in e-jays WAV directory ,
remember just 1 sample on the sequencer at a time,
method 1 should work but you will need to improvise on what i have written,
i dont use e-jay so im not 100%,
---------------------------------
e-jay batch file converter,
there might be one on the net to convert the whole samplebank in 1 go..
hope this helps,
everyone else seems to be quick off the mark to knock a somthing , yet no answers to your question...
good luck.
ps maybe the e-jay forum might be able to help you m8 out better than me,
tell them to make an account at e-jay it will save info coming to them 3rd person.
