PreSonus Studio One Pro only$200??

just checked studio one pro on the presonus website and it's only $200 right now? anyone know why?

Studio One is half price from now to October 31st. Call it a celebration of things to come...

Pro = $199 US
Artist = $99 US
Upgrade from Artist to Pro = $99 US.
 
I use Studio One Pro and i check the forum they have daily... the supposed reason for the price drop is said to be because of 2 things ..

1.) Studio One Pro version 2 is supposed to be coming out in the fall so they may be letting S1 go to make room for S1 2 coming .. once a lot of people pick up S1 for 200$ and then S1 2 drops a few months later, a lot of them will pay for the up grade to S1 2 ... marketing ..

2.) some places like sweetwater etc. will run specials on software for their own personal reasons to keep their customers happy and to obtain customers ...

these were some of the reasons i heard on the Presonus forum.. most logical
