Orchestra Hits/Hits in General Either too High or too Low Pitched

When I'm using sampled hits for Trap beats or even 808s I keep running into the problem where the correct note is either too low and rumbly/muddy in one octave, but too high pitched for my needs in the next octave up.
What is the solution for this issue?
