The Numark TT-1510s good for starting out. if just for private use...

>Belt drive turntable
> 10% Pitch adjustment
> 33, 45 rpm
> Removable headshell & lid
> Anti-skate control
> Strobe indicator
> Slipmat included
> Cartridge included

i don't know how much they weigh.. look kinda plastic on bottom..

any help would be great

Well, a belt-drive is never to recommend, but by all means - if you learn to beat match on one of these you'll be a master once you upgrade. But I wouldn't recommend it.

I agree, you may end up wishing you had spent a little extra on a pair of D-drives instead sooner than you think. I've seen this happening before many times.

Own a pair courtesy of the Funkmaster Flex package.

They're good as far as sound goes. I can scratch halfway decently. Well, the simple scratches anyway. I will definitly move up later but since I'm on a tight, tight, TIGHT budget it's a nice start.

I got the numark tt 1520 and the mixer ( i think it's ex1001). Anyway, I don't recommand this piece of s**t. Trust me, save up more money and get the tt 100 ( i think it's called the PHAT pak). Or the stanton ones with the str8-80 package or the gemini.

stay away from 1520 or the 1510 because you can't scratch and you can't mix properly (pitch is not accurate).
