New SMOOTH Curren$y/Wiz Kind of track.. F4F

Been producing for almost 2 yrs now.. Still have a ways to go but I am happy with how this turned out. Looking for feedback, I interact back w/ everyone who likes/comments/follows me on sc. Any tips in regards to eq'ing and such? Thanks.

The way you've chopped the sample gives the melody real sophistication and retains interest. The alternations in the hi hat are clever too. This is an instrumental to me, no need for verses over it - though I dare say a truly iginative MC could jump on this - but it's strong enough on its own.

Yeah, I definitely sounds like a sample that Ski Beatz would flip for Curren$y no doubt. I really dig the way you chopped it up. I kind of wish this drums gave me more thought. I think some form of electronic/synth drums work on this, but not sure if 808s were the right choice IMO.

I think it would be cool if you added some synths over the top to give it some more layers, and maybe throw a drum roll, drop, or something like that every once in a while to give it some flavor.

Overall, I really dig the vibe of the beat, maybe try some experimentation with some different drums and synths to see what they sound like.

This beats mad chill…for some reason, I think it'd be cool if you added some old school drums for like a bar or 2 prior to the chorus. Track just feels mad old school and I think that'd be a cool addition to the sounds you got going.

This intro is too smooth. Bass hits hard. Feelin this mix. You could try adding some more reverb to the clap and autopanning your hihats. I'd also love to hear some sensual pitched/chopped vocals in this mix. The transition at 3:04 is a bit jarring, perhaps you could try fading out your main elements a bit more slowly and then work in the choppy ending. Overall a dope track, keep up the great work!
