It's a cool beat. One problem I had is I couldn't tell where a verse ended and a chorus began. When making an instrumental try to follow the intro, chorus, verse, ending formula. Your intro was a bit too long, and the beat itself got kind of repetitive after a while. Remember you can use more than just a hi hat and clap in your beats. Your in the right direction, trust me I wasn't too much different from you about a month ago. Keep at it.
