New Producer laptop

Hello,

I have been producing for over a year now. And during this year I kept upgrading my gear, my gear exists now out :
- Focusrite 2i2
- 2* krk rp6 g3
- Mopads
- Krk kns 8400 headset

But I still got one thing to upgrade, which is my laptop. Because of my laptop I am not able to make a proper mixdown/mastering, because my laptop starts lagging extreme(FL gives 70 - 80 & CPU usage).

I want to buy a laptop and not a desktop because of the fact that I am a student, so I travel every week over 200 km, which makes it almost not possible to buy a desktop(Or I wouldnt be able to produce in the weekend).

My budget is around = 1000 € ( 1342,61 $ )

I want to buy the laptop around February.

So what advise do you guys give me. I want to produce tracks without worrying about the CPU usage of my laptop.

Thanks in advance!

I don't know much about which computer is good for producing, but for that money you can buy good machine.
My advice is that you maybe go with used macbook if you don't have money for new because it is really good laptop and many producers use it.

I also wanted to ask you about Scarlett 2i2. I just bought it and i want to ask you are you happy with it?

As long as you have a computer with a processor that clocks over 2.4ghz you should be fine. My main computer is an i5 4670k running at 4.2ghz overclocked but my work laptop that I use as a back up is a core duo 2.5 and runs my projects flawlessly. For $1,300US you can buy pretty much any computer and it will run anything music related just fine. You can buy a macbook pro or if you want Windows you can buy a Lenovo or go all out and buy an ADK.

I decided to go for a desktop, because I can get a better pc for cheaper price, so I wanted to ask what you guys think about this configuration :
