New Emerging Genres

Genres are always popping up out of a mixture of other genres. Sometimes new genres just appear out of nowhere. Do any of you think there's a new genre possibly appearing that is heavily focused around space-type sounds? Its like psytrance or gao trance, but with more hip hop style beats, yet it's not trap. Brainfeeder artists make some of it. A lot of people around the Humboldt area make it too. As far as i know, it's just experimental, but it sounds really futuristic and cool!

Maybe try listening to some Trip Hop - you might like that...it's not necessarily space sounds as such but you might dig it!

A lot of good lo-fi stuff. I guess Lo-fi beats, and to some extent Vaporwave share similarities with Underground hip-hop, and Golden Era hip-hop styles.
Not too dissimilar to DJ Shadow circa 1998, or Madlib.

Lo-fi sounds are them I suppose. Ya DJ Shadow does definitely. He has a track with Bleep Bloop, who works with a few friends of mine. I'll check out the songs. Thanks.
