Hi all, E1GHTH PLACE here,

Just finished writing this piece not too long ago and....it feels really, REALLY good to just put all of my emotions into this one. This takes me back to when I first started writing music and it's meant to pay homage to my old self while layering the elements of the "newer me", so to speak. The title of the song has various interpretations and there is no right or wrong answer, just a feeling you get while listening to this song whether if it's something that triggers the past, is happening to you in the present, or in the future. I hope you feel some kind of inspiration from listening to this song the same way it does for me :)

Smooth and quite personal production, I appreciate the different sweet moods, this is like a sort of a storytelling!
 
Man, what can I say? It sounds superb, full and emotional! In terms of style I liked your other tracks more, but this one is just oozing with life and nostalgia! I can hear you enjoyed making it, keep up the great work!
 
Boom! Awesome track brother! I love the intro and that build into the drop! I was having some OG Zelda flashbacks too - had such a nostalgic feeling to it.

A minor thing, but the claps seemed a little dull when they came in, maybe they need to be a smidge louder, or you could crisp them up a little?

Nonetheless - top stuff mate!
 
Thanks a lot for listening, guys! :) Sorry I haven't been as active lately since I've been busy visiting family and enjoying my time off (I'm back home for a month).

The claps for sure could use a little bit of a boost the more I listen to it. I've made very minimal changes to the song too so I'll re-upload the track again in the near future via SoundCloud
