the drum patterns really nice and works well with the track. the mix is ok, i think the snare is a bit overpowering. the synths could do with some work, it sounds like the basis from which a melody could be built, like a backing synth that a lead gradually takes over building up to a hook rather than the lead in itself. feels like the lows and highs are a bit empty. good work regardless!
The melody is decent, but the drums don't work. They're pretty boom-bappy for this ambient melody. Maybe look into some more drum machine-based stuff or even some R&B kits. Alternatively, you could use effects to make the melody sound grittier. This is a good basis though, with some more variety this could be really nice.
