As i am trying to get more in to television scoring and orchestral sounds, I know that i don't not have the resources to rent a 40 (or even 4) piece orchestra. Live players are able to play their instruments with a certain amount of expression that playing with a keyboard cannot (unless its piano of course). However I have heard that the practice of "key switching" can help you come pretty dang close. Do any of you use this practice and can you clue me in on how to do it? I use EWQL Goliath but also play with kontakt 4.
